In this report, basically, it has been included the analyzing of a fin of the electric water pump motor cover temperature distribution. The effect of the convective heat transfer coefficient (h) for temperature distribution when transferring heat along the fin has been analyzed. Three different ‘h’ values have been taken and temperature distributions have been taken by using the MATHCAD program. It is shown graphically the temperature distribution along the length of a fin when changing the ‘h’ value. Importance of the convective heat transfer coefficient also has been discussed. Also variation of convective heat transfer coefficient with turbulent flow and laminar flow has been discussed.
This study was conducted at the University of Agriculture Makurdi Research Farm in the sub-humid Southern Guinea Savanna Zone of Nigeria, during the 2010 and 2011 cropping seasons to determine the effects of Bambara groundnuts (Voandzecia Subtonanea) (L) Verde biomass on soil physical and chemical properties. Five treatments (comprising 0, 5, 10, 15 and 20 t ha-1 of bambara groundnut biomass) were laid in a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) and replicated three times. The biomass was incorporated as green manure after 120 days of planting bambara groundnut on the same piece of land. A composite soil sample was taken at planting while samples were taken on treatment basis at 30, 60 and 90 days after treatment application. The samples were analyzed at the NICANSOL laboratory following standard procedures. The results obtained showed that incorporation of bambara groundnut biomass had no significant effects on the particle size distribution of the soil. The green manure produced sig
This study was undertaken to accomplish three objectives: 1) to quantify the level of environmental policy implementation among TAOs, 2) to examine the major factors affecting the success of environmental policy implemented at the TAO level, and 3) to provide recommendations for more effective policy development on environmental issues and on the implementation processes used by the TAOs. This study uses mixed-method research, in which the qualitative data that has been collected is used to corroborate and support the evidence from the quantitative data. This method gives breadth and depth of understanding to the rationale or theory underlying the relationships between the variables. The data was collected by using four-rating scale questionnaires, organizational records, and an in-depth interview. The sampled groups represented TAOs located in industrial zones in nine provinces from the central, northeast and eastern parts of Thailand. In data processing, the quantitative analysis inc
This study was conducted in order to examine the factors that influence customers’ intention to purchase Malaysian made cars. The objectives of this study are: (i) To investigate the relationship between service quality, product quality and price fairness with customer satisfaction and trust; (ii) To investigate the relationship between the customer satisfaction with trust and purchase intention; (iii) To identify the relationship between the service quality, product quality and price fairness with customer satisfaction. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was employed and analysed using AMOS software. Stratified sampling design used in selecting 120 employees as the respondent for the study. The result revealed that only product quality and price fairness leads to customer satisfaction. Meanwhile, customer satisfaction will lead to trust, and trust influences the purchase intention.
Wage protection was always being spoken by labor and was one normative demand that until today still left lots of problems for labor world thus give birth to several legal issues in industrial relation. Legal issues in wage area would include unfairness for labor concerning direction and wage policy in Indonesia. By accomodating shariah wage principle, it may give solution for lack of principles in wage in Indonesia, in which most of its labor were Moslem. In addition, shariah wage principle had several advantage which lies in fairness, appropriateness, punctuality, responsible, and humanity aspect which is framed in moral framework. This moral aspect concerning shariah wage, if being traced back, could be used as main philosophy of labor law in the world and also labor law in Indonesia. Therefore, shariah wage principle in industrial relation would consists of three aspects in which each aspect would hold seven principles such as follows: 1) theology principle as the representation of
